He specializes in the design of HVAC systems for facilities such as college campus’, community buildings, churches, historical buildings, correctional facilities, housing, museum, governmental, retail, educational facilities and more. He has provided designs for renovation, repairs, maintenance, new construction, and addition to facilities. He also specializes in conducting reports, evaluation and recommendation in the field of HVAC design.
Mr. Joseph, having performed as project director for some of the most reputable Philadelphia-based engineering firms, has developed his expertise within the building services industry. He possesses a strong ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships between contractor/engineer and client/engineer. Mr. Joseph’s knowledge of computer-based engineering calculations, coupled with his leadership abilities proves him to be a definite asset in timely project completion and quality engineering standards.
Mr. Joseph excels at researching and analyzing client design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications. He has established himself in the electrical industry by providing excellent services for various project types, such as Power System Design, Service Upgrades, Lightning Protection Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, Emergency Systems, Lighting and Controls, Call Systems, UPS System, Voltage Drop Calculations and Studies
Mr. Fairfax is very well known in the Philadelphia area with his extensive experience in plumbing and fire protection design. With over 40 years in the industry, Mr. Fairfax has performed on a wide range of private and public projects ranging from industrial to residential to healthcare and pharmaceutical. With his understanding of construction requirements and with his ability to lead, Mr. Fairfax has proven to be a valuable and important addition to Mark Ulrick Engineers, Inc.
Mr. Brown brings with him over 20 years of HVAC Engineering skills to Mark Ulrick Engineers. He has been a part of Mark Ulrick Engineers, Inc. for over 15 years and has continued to remain an integral part of the company’s success. His specialty in system design and layout makes a smooth transition of new hires and project start ups. Mr. Brown’s exceptional communication skills provides as a liaison for client interfacing and assisting in completing project and start-up for new projects. Mr. Brown is proficient in AUTOCADD, REVIT and Micro Stations.
Mr. Joseph joined the firm as their marketing and business development coordinator. Mr. Joseph is a 2011 Graduate of the University of Virginia where he was a 3-year letter winner as a member of the football team. Mr. Joseph spent 3 years playing professional indoor football while managing 2 family owned car washes. Mr. Joseph is a member of the Society of Marketing Professional Services.
Mr. Howard provides the organizational component in ensuring that MUEI runs as efficient and as productive as possible. Since his arrival at MUEI he has leveraged his experience in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting as well as his leadership and teambuilding skill work. He assists with day to day problem solving and works hand in hand with our engineers and designers to ensure that our projects come within budget.
