Mr. Fairfax is very well known in the Philadelphia area with his extensive experience in plumbing and fire protection design. With over 40 years in the industry, Mr. Fairfax has performed on a wide range of private and public projects ranging from industrial to residential to healthcare and pharmaceutical. With his understanding of construction requirements and with his ability to lead, Mr. Fairfax has proven to be a valuable and important addition to Mark Ulrick Engineers, Inc.
Mr. Fairfax as our chief plumbing engineer, provides oversight of all MUEI’s plumbing design projects. He manages our design teams for above and below grade utilities, including sanitary, storm, gas and water. He is extremely knowledgeable of the Philadelphia Plumbing Code and adept to the differences in the national codes. His project experiences range from prisons, schools, health care, airports, residential, etc. He places heavy emphasis on energy and water conservation.
