Temple University, Philadelphia, PA: Mark Ulrick Engineers, Inc. is providing mechanical engineering support as part of a larger design team headed by USA Architects and ARC/Architectural Resources. The project is a new, 260,000 square foot multi-story laboratory building for Temple University’s main campus in Philadelphia. The new facility will improve and expand the science and engineering programs, incorporate high tech classrooms, lecture halls and collaboration space. Features include a two-story atrium serving as a gateway to the new research corridor linking to the existing engineering building, flexible laboratory space designed to accommodate both wet and dry labs and basement designed to accommodate specialized, vibration sensitive imaging and characterization equipment.
