45,000 GSF, renovation of historic administration facility with 1,200 seat auditorium.  The exterior of Philips Memorial Hall had not been modified since it was built in 1927.  The elaborate library woodwork and decorative plaster were carefully restored, meeting rooms were reclaimed, and interior spaces refinished.  MUEI’s responsibilities included complete mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection design and construction administration for the facility.  New systems include adding two air cooled rotator screwed chillers, custom air handling units, conversion of steam system to hot water system, coordination with acoustical & sound consultants and provisions for kitchen system.
