Reading Terminal Market
Pennsylvania Convention Center Authority, Philadelphia, PA – Mark Ulrick Engineers, Inc. was responsible for the design of the HVAC system design for the historically certified Reading Terminal Market. The facility is an approximate 80,000 SF market area with food and retail booths. Our design included provisions for 95,000 CFM of outside air with intricate routing of large diameter kitchen hood exhaust ductwork. This exposed round ductwork was strategically routed to consider booth locations and sized per code to be self balancing without volume dampers.
