Troop “M” Trevose State Police Barracks
Date: 2004
Cost: $2,800,000
Located north of Philadelphia in Bucks County, the Trevose Station and Police Barracks provides a permanent new law enforcement facility for Pa. State Police Troop “M.” Designed and constructed under the direction of the Commonwealth of Pennsylania’s Department of General Services, the two-story building provides ground-level space for the troop’s 24/7/365 patrol operations and upper-level offices for an investigations unit. The internal layout allows the two divisions to coexist without infringing upon one another’s space requirements. Features include a garage, operations room, secure evidence storage, offices, and locker rooms. The project was designed to achieve LEED Silver certification. MUEI’s responsibilities included mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection design.
